Bereavement Care

“Bereavement care” is an essential part of hospice care that focuses on grief of family members and support following a loss of a loved one.

Passionate Heart Hospice provides and organized bereavement program supervised by a qualified Bereavement Coordinator for up to one year. Services will be provided by personnel who have received training and have experience dealing with grief.
This program provides bereavement services to the family/caregivers of hospice patients, in accordance with the plan of care. The purpose of these services is to facilitate a normal grieving process and prepare family/caregivers dealing with a loss.
